Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ResumeKraft platform, operated by ResumeKraft, Inc. ("we", "our", or "us"), available at mehtasystems.dev and its subdomains.

By creating an account or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use ResumeKraft.

To use ResumeKraft you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be barred from receiving services under applicable law
• Not have had a previous ResumeKraft account terminated for violations of these Terms

If you are using ResumeKraft on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

When you register for a ResumeKraft account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and keep it updated
• Maintain the security of your password and not share it with anyone
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at mehtasystemsdev@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access

You may not create accounts using automated means, or under false or fraudulent pretences. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

ResumeKraft offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed through Stripe.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise ResumeKraft to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

• Cancellations — Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. You retain Pro access until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds — We offer a full refund within 7 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion.
• Price changes — We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase; continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
• Taxes — Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.

You agree to use ResumeKraft only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the service to create content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise illegal
• Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or work history in resumes created with the platform
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our AI models, algorithms, or proprietary templates
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access, query, or extract data from the platform without written permission
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Share, resell, or sublicense access to your account or a paid plan
• Use the service in any way that could harm ResumeKraft's reputation or expose us to legal liability

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, create, or generate using ResumeKraft ("Your Content"), including your resume data, cover letters, and profile information.

By using the service, you grant ResumeKraft a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service to you. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

• We will never sell Your Content to third parties
• We will not use Your Content to train AI models without your explicit opt-in consent
• You are responsible for ensuring Your Content does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you upload (including imported LinkedIn data)

All aspects of the ResumeKraft platform — including but not limited to the software, UI design, resume templates, AI models, branding, and documentation — are owned by or licensed to ResumeKraft, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you any right to use ResumeKraft's trademarks, logos, or other brand elements. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our templates outside of normal resume usage
• Claim ownership of any part of the ResumeKraft platform
• Use our brand, name, or logo without prior written consent
• Create derivative products or services based on our proprietary technology

ResumeKraft uses AI (powered in part by third-party models) to help you write, rewrite, and optimise resume content. By using AI features, you acknowledge:

• AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate — Always review AI-generated content before including it in a resume you submit to employers.
• You are responsible for the final content — ResumeKraft does not verify the truthfulness of AI-assisted bullet points, summaries, or cover letters.
• Results may vary — AI suggestions are based on your input and general patterns; they are not tailored career advice.
• No confidentiality guarantee for AI prompts — Input you provide may be processed by third-party model providers under their own terms (e.g. Anthropic).

ResumeKraft is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose (e.g. securing a specific job or passing a specific ATS)
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service
• Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content
• Continued availability of any specific feature, template, or integration

We make no guarantee that using ResumeKraft will result in job interviews, offers, or career advancement. Employment outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeKraft, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including:

• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities
• Costs of substitute services
• Any harm arising from unauthorised access to or alteration of your content
• Any content or conduct of any third party on or accessed through the service

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to ResumeKraft in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exclusions, so the above may not apply to you in full.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or our business. When we make material changes, we will:

1. Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
2. Show an in-app notice for at least 14 days after the change goes live
3. Email registered users for any significant changes that affect their rights

Your continued use of ResumeKraft after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, please stop using the service and cancel any active subscriptions.
